Architect Emma Hansson of Vandkunsten comments on the choice of Krone Vinduer: "When we enter into a partnership with a manufacturer, our primary concern is to find one that allows us to work with authentic and natural materials. In Bispevika, we wanted to work with Nordic materials. The façades are made of Norwegian Oppdal slate, so it was important that the windows could complement this with a warm aesthetic. In that context, it made sense to work with solid oak, a quintessentially Nordic building material that contrasts beautifully with the slate.
By working with Krone windows, we have had the pleasure of working with a flexible and robust product that can challenge standard sizes and therefore allows the architecture to unfold."
